Michael J. Devine
As an attorney, Mike’s practice has been concentrated in commercial business transactions involving purchases and sales of businesses in diverse areas of commerce, contract negotiation including buy/sell agreements, distribution agreements, employment agreements, non-competition agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
Mike also represents businesses and individuals in commercial and shareholder disputes in both State and Federal Courts. Cases include breach of contract, shareholder disputes, restrictive covenant cases, non-competition litigation, will and trust contests and accounting disputes.
Mike enjoys an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell, its highest designation for a practicing attorney, and is licensed by the State of Illinois as a Certified Public Accountant.
Prior to entering law school Mike served on the internal audit staff of Trans Union Corporation. He has provided volunteer legal services for a parochial high school and various non-profit entities.
